Darlene Smith*

Darlene Smith is an Operating Partner for P4G’s Aerospace & Defense investments and is currently serving as the CEO of AST.   Darlene is a results-oriented Aerospace executive with demonstrated accomplishments in improving and growing business while increasing profits and customer satisfaction.  

Darlene has over 40 years of Aerospace experience spanning executive level roles as well as direct roles in Supply Chain Management, P&L leadership of precision products, material management, ERP systems, continuous improvement, and transformation management. Darlene is a versatile leader, proven strategic and tactical problem-solver, and change champion who is focused on positive employment culture as being integral to success. 

Prior to Joining P4G, Mrs. Smith held senior level roles within Kaman Aerospace Corporation, serving as the President of Kaman Air Vehicles and the General Manager of Logistics, Serviceable Spare Part Sales, ERP Change Champion, and the Materials and Continuous Improvement Manager for Pratt & Whitney. 

Darlene has a Master of Management from Cambridge College, holds a Greenbelt in Lean manufacturing from Lockheed Martin, and has been trained by Shingijutsu in lean manufacturing.
